Afternoon All

It’s a sad day for Kanban lovers – including me.  I have learnt today that they are going into liquidation.  I don’t know if it will be possible but I sincerely hope they can find a way of bringing us their fantastic products still.  I have lots of kits so I won’t be short for quite a while yet! But, still, sad to hear the news. :-(

On to my project…I have made a box from square cards! Not much measuring and easy peasy  - it needs to be for me to do it ;-) Box was decorated with Kanban’s Feline Friends card kit.  I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. 

 I made the flowers freehand by cutting them out of the Kanban backing paper and then added a few Spellbinders D-lites - fantastic flourish one.

Right, I am off now to craft some more.  Hubby is home ill (that rotten 'man flu') and it's snowing a blizzard outside - so if anyone needs me I shall be acting between nurse & crafter! LOL

It’s a dreary day here in my neck of the woods, so a great chance for me to craft, craft, and craft!!

Here is a card I made last night - vintage themed.  I love vintaage stuff – I’ll  be able to class myself as vintage soon! hehe

Happy March everyone!

Happy March everyone!

I have been a busy bee, making Mother’s day cards & not much time for blogging! Typical!

 I’ve also just completed an order for 35 baby shower cards – I have not had a commission order this big before! I’m always worrying that I can live up to people’s expectations when I’m asked to make cards for them.  I don’t really know why I worry as I have not had any negative feedback at all.  Silly, aint I ? hehe!  Anyway, I am quite pleased how they turned out. They were kept quite simple at the request of the expectant Mum!  After making the cards I made up a box from Crafter’s Companion’s Centura Pearl card stock and the Panda Digi is from The Paper Shelter. They have now been collected & I’m waiting on feedback from her *gulps*.
