My funny valentine (song title)

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing OK & coping with the weather? Thankfully, here down South, although windy & rainy there hasn't been too many reports of flooding - although our garden has had a bit of a battering from the wind!

I've had a few good days allowing me some crafting time but can't say the same for this weekend. Frustratingly, I have spent most of it, in & on the bed dealing with pain issues and concentration.  I tried doing some colouring today with my Speccies but Oh my word, even a two year old could colour better that what I did! After four attempts I gave up (and sulked and had a tantrum and stamped my foot - of course, all in my head- hehe!)

Anyway, thankfully the card I am showing you today was created at the beginning of the week & suffice to say, even though not brilliant, the colouring is a whole lot better than today's attempt I can tell you!!

...looking a bit orangey here but true colour in more like the bottom (close up) card. The red card that you can see on card base & around image has been coloured using spectrum noir pen. I didn't have red card that matched the pens so improvised by colouingr just what you can see.

Close up - room for improvement colouring wise just need more practice! After image was completely dry I painted on some clear gloss varnish on the balloons and Humprey's intended lady's shoes!

Ingredients:
Red card created usings CR11 Spectrum noir pen
White heart ebossed card from Hunkydory
Humprey's Corner collection love & hugs stamp set from Crafter's Companion
Duraclear gloss varnish by Americana From HobbyCraft
Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir pens
(CR11, CR10,CR8 from reds set)

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge(s):

Crafter's Companion - Clean & Simple (8/03)
Electic Ellapu - From the heart (15/02)
TTCRD - Anything goes (10/02)
My Craft Creations - Anything goes (15/02)
Ladybug Crafts- Be mine (27/02)
2 sisters Challenge - embossing (07/03)

So, there you have it, my little creation for Hubby on Valentine's day! It'll be no surprise though as the amount of times he caught a glimpse of it in the making - and again tonight whilst blogging about it! Men, huh? hehe

Until next time, stay well & safe :)
