Hi to my
crafty buddies! I hope you are all well and
doing what you love best J
Today is
a very special day for me, and all though it’s not craft related as such but I do
have a card representing this FANTASTIC day.
Today is
five years to the day, that my Daughter kicked cancers arse, so in the medical
world that means she is CURED.
As every
person who has walked this road, either with cancer, or walked alongside a
loved one, friend etc with cancer and or lost someone to cancer, knows what a
tough, rough road it is to walk. I also
know, as a Mother & a Daughter, I am one of the lucky ones, my Daughter is still here, my
Mother too. We made lots of friend's on this journey and we also lost friends too. My heart is with those who have lost and still fighting & for every partner, parent, sibling, friend who has supported them through those difficult times, feeling helpless & scared...
I can not wait for the day when there will be no cancer for anyone.
But today...
I AM SO THANKFULL
For my daughter's strength, determination, stubbornness and a firm knowledge that she would kick cancers arse!
(I don't know how, can't answer why, but she knew the day she was diagnosed that she would be kicking hard and would win)
Here is a link to her blog if anyone knows of anyone fighting this battle and in need of some inspiration & humour and a whole lot of reality thrown in:
I wont
go on and on, so instead will show you the card I made for my Daughter, a card
of recognition of how far she has come on this journey…
& love & hope for her future.
Thank you for dropping by, I do appreciate each & everyone of you who finds the time to visit and share with me.
I love your views so please feel free to comment! :)
Wherever you are whatever you do, I hope today is a fantastic one for you!
Until next time,
Mandy :)

Yay well done to your daughter :-) what a great day to celebrate and what a gorgeous card to help celebrate. Love the colours and the diecuts. The bow and beautiful stick pins finish it off perfectly!
I too cannot wait for the day that cancer is no longer a killer.
